As of now, I have sixteen lessons completely finished. This means that they're all written out with theme concepts, learning objectives, classroom sequences, and accompanying slides and hand outs. Only ten more to go!
In the end, I'll have a total of twenty five lessons to teach over the six week summer camp period. Some are unoriginal (pop art portraits, anyone?) and others are dull (Sorry grid drawing, but the kids don't generally like you), but there's a few gems that I'm genuinely excited to teach. I have one that compares European Art Nouveau with Yoshitaka Amano (ooh, Final Fantasy!) and another that has campers making Miis out of coil pot and slab building techniques. Anywhere that I can incorporate Nintendo along with the canonical, academic stuff is going to be a hit.
I did have my first pre-camp nightmare of the season last night, though. This time around, I dreamt that I was put in charge of 1000+ kids and told to keep them quiet. A riot started with the older kids, and soon everyone was stealing stuff from the school and running out into the streets. I even got punched in the face by a little boy in my dream
Excited, nervous, eager...all things that come along with starting a 'new' job, I suppose.

we all dream the same dream every night
to burn the world that you call civilized
I found for you the greatest Bible commentary ever assembled, "The Expositor's Bible Commentary" by Frank Gabeliene.

Your man's got excellent taste. Have you seen the original "Speed Racer" yet? I, personally, ain't impressed with CGI (Candy-coated, glorified illusions) but that old-school Speed Racer, especially the theme song... that takes me back.
With regards to "Japanamation," most of it's pornographic and very violent which is why if you decide to delve deeper (which is by my assumption that you might), the real good stuff happened before 1998 concluding with the very gorgeous "Cowboy Bebop."
That's all, glad to see you doing great!

I love DragonBall Z. The original DragonBall series, if you can get your hands on it, is much better storyline wise. Nobody ever agrees with me.
But, yes, that is fair.
